Celestron Advanced AVX 9.25 Any Good

Hi All,

Has anyone got or had any experience with the Celestron Advanced AVX 9.25, i currently have the 6SE and i am wanting to get into AP.

Some people have said keep my 6SE tube and upgrade my mount.

Can anyone give me some pros and cons

For AP this combo will not be the easiest. The AVX is just fine as a starting mount but I would suggest getting a small ED80 or maybe a 6" Newt.

I have the cgem 925 edge hd I think you may find the avx mount a bit light for astrophotgraphy
