DSOs near Jupiter

Short session tonight from late dusk to near-full moonrise after 8PM.   As Jupiter was my scope's "alignment star" I stayed in the area via Megastar for a couple of planetaries, a galaxy group, variable IR source R Leo etc  and a quasar @ 10BLY.   Jupiter+sats [1ms=1/1000s] and quasar [100s - negative for clarity] below for starters.   Data on images - used Meade 30cm f/4 SCT + SX Lodestar-Cx2 + SX s/w. :police:

LEO continued...

N2954 = elipt gx @ ~280MLY

N3019 S no RV;  upper left pair gx both S type ~RV=+1500 z=0.005 = 70MLY
N3016 gx lower right can't be associated with above eg RV=+8869 =z0.0296= 400MLY eg x6 further away??

I've used from Megastar the RV/c = simple non-cosmo z to deduce object lookback-time/range in x MLY.

PK221+45.1 - tried for this PN but too faint to record.  In brief sub-exposures the central star is bright [see inset top left] and soft comet-like disk [via the scope focal reducer]
a sure sign of near-IR radiation that I've recorded before. The unfiltered Lodestar records to ~950nm in near-IR but skews the dominant IR to pale blue colour. Good find.  PN/central star = CW Leo Mira var carbon star C9,5 type.

PNG221.5+46.3 is a huge 12' diam inordinately faint PN filling fov but not recorded - the mag16 central star is and ID by Wikisky - PN shown inset from Wikisky.

R Leo is currently about mag 9.5 [visual AAVSO] but records many mags brighter due to near-IR captured by unfiltered Lodestar camera.
