Moisture Protection

Hello everyone, Just bought Skywatcher EQ5 Dual Axis motor drive. I need to know has anyone got any tips about protecting electrical connections from moisture penetration. All suggestions considered.

Never found the need TBH. Astronomy gear is often made with the thought that it will be out in some harsh elements.

I have the dual axis motor drive and have never had a problem with heavy dew on the motors,

sometimes the scope is quite wet with dew, but it never seems to cause any problems, I disconnect

the leads and battery pack, then put the tripod and mount in the shed, and let them dry out themselves.

Just purchased a dual motor for an EQ 3 mount and just disconnect everything and let the equipment dry out slowly, so far no problems.
