I am counting the days till the paraffin budgie comes to bring me home from the North Sea.

Then hopefully some good skies to get some decent images.

These are the first shots I managed with the scope and Camera.

0.7x Reducer/Luminance filter 1500frames of video (14ns exposure with gain set to auto) Perhaps the auto gain was a mistake as one of the shots is a little over exposed in places.

Stacked in Registax and best 500 frames used plus a bit of wavelet sharpening.

I wanted the widest field first. Next lunar opportunity am going to try for a much narrower field of view using the barlow/powermate.

Quite pleased with these for a first attempt but still lots to learn about imaging and processing.
