Bargain - full size Planisphere, star chart (and a book) at Astroboot

not sure how to link to individual items on Astroboot but for a newb like me and my 9yo

£3.50 for 'Stargazer pack' with full size Philips Planisphere and big star chart was well worth it (the book was a skinny thing I haven't looked at yet) - the planet table on ours runs from 2012 to 2020 as well. Only disappointment was Planishpere didn't have the Milky Way on it.

Got free post by ordering 3 items inc a cracking Revelation 1.5x / 2x Barlow (another bargain!) and cheap table top tripod

My 11yr old niece bought me the same thing 2 yrs ago for Christmas. My planisphere glows in the dark..............badly.

I bought this pack for a friend at Christmas to (hopefully!) encourage her to start using her telescope. Whether it will or not, the pack is a *bargain* for learning the basic sky....
