CdC Ascom and Poth

Since moving over to Ascom POTH hub for the dome and mount control, I have noticed that CdC is far more stable if anything get disconected, anyone else found this? If for example your mount is connected direct and then powers off CdC freezes up.

Interesting point. I have never understood how your supposed to connect everything with an ascom driver together. Must read up on it. Wonder if Maxim dl 6 would be more stable with poth or maxpoint in use for a hub? Can anyone point me to a good site with examples of setups?
