They all look very similar indeed, the SW and Orbinar are identical to me and they have near identical specs although the Orbinar has something called "Interpupillary distance:" in place of eye relief!  (this makes me laugh a little, reminds me of Gus out of  "Drop the dead donkey", very funny)

Anyway, Skywatcher are obviously a well known name, have heard of and think I was briefly owned a Orbinar plossl but never heard of Andromeda eyepieces!

What does anyone else think, same thing ?

Very likely all the same, may be the Barsta Flat Field eyepieces with different branding on the side.

Barsta make 5 different focal length ones from their website. Equally Long Perng and GSO may produce the same range - things seem tp get shared round a fair bit in China.

Look very much like the UO EF eyepieces:

UO-EF

Trouble is I can see EF eyepieces at the same focal lenghs on Barsta and UO, the Longperng site will not work for me. Source could be either or another.

The OO-EF eyepieces are identical, guess copyright laws aren't as tight in China either Ronin. I am not rushing out to buy one, more inquisitive at this point although I may have space for a wider field ep at this length since my recent clearout if thats the right word. Which reminds me, must update my sig

I sometimes think that the Chinese optics manufacturers have one big factory that has a different name at each corner. I think at one time I could see 5 places all making TMB Planetary eyepieces that were indistinguishable.

They are available in about many different labels from many different companies, i.e. Astrotech, BST, Levenhuk, Omegon, SkyWatcher, Telescope Service, Orion, etc..  If you order enough of them, you could get your own private label name put on them.

The good news is that they are pretty good, optically, though they are not perfectly corrected for astigmatism at the edge in sub f/6 focal ratios.

The flat fields make focusing easier in smaller scopes (like most refractors).  If you don't care about the label on the outside, buy on price.
