December 29, 2014: Short H-alpha session

Just had the LS35THA out. The large curved filament I imaged yesterday is still going strong. Several others can be seen to the west of it. Loads of activity on the surface, but more quiet prom-wise. A long linear prom can be seen sticking out at a very shallow angle from the limb in the northwest. A striking pair of short proms is visible due east. Though short and stubby, they are bright, and emanate from a bright area on the surface. Looks like a lot of pent-up energy is present there. Could well show some fireworks later.
