Lovely photograph nytecam, thanks for sharing. I wasn't really aware of this phenomenon so your post prompted me to read up on it. Isn't it amazing how much you can observe without need for any fancy equipment. I'm always on the lookout for noctilucent clouds, and of course we have had a few supermoons this year.  I've added Earth Shadow and Belt of Venus to the list now.  This is what I love about this hobby, you never stop learning something new.

Busy scanning the sky for a certain gentleman in a sleigh - now if I can get my autoguider to work!
