December 16, 2014: Quick look in H-alpha, lots of nice surface detail + a few proms

Just had a quick look with the LS35 and the surface is riddled with spots, plage areas and some nice filaments (none very long as we have seen in the recent past, but quite a few of them). The south eastern part of the disk is particularly full of action, and a few proms can be spotted along the souther half of the eastern limb. A low "hedgerow" can be seen easily, and a few fainter poms show to the north. A very faint one could be spotted on the northwestern limb as well. Hope to get a longer view come lunchtime
