Saving in stellarium

when i am setting up stellarium for guiding i go into the telescope bit select my com port (com 3 )  but sometimes it keeps jumping out and going back to com 1 is there anyway i can save the setting so it stays at com 3

You could try the Configuration Window this has a save option to keep settings when you close the program.....
