A noobish question about off-axis guiding

Hello everyone!

Just now, I have attempted to use my off axis guider for the first time, with my Canon 1100D, and have run into a simple problem - I can focus the camera, but my crosshair reticle eyepiece is out of focus. I'm sure this question is highly noobish, but what should I do?

You need to adjust the spacing to make them par focal.

Get focus on the camera on a distant object then adjust the focus to bring the EP into focus. If you had to rack out then you need that amount of space on the EP side. If you had to rack in the spacer needs to go on the camera side.
