NEQ6 Pro - Home/park position query

Hello all.  My NEQ6 Pro has recently started playing silly beggars.  On and during the set up and switch on procedure, the handset used to ask me to set the scope to it's "home position".  Next step would be a 2/3 star alignment and Bob's your Uncle. 

Never had any real issues with the above.

However.  Noticed the mount no longer asks me to set the "home position" any more and my Goto is very hit and miss whereby, I am beginning to toy with the idea of hitting the factory reset button.  Don't really want to do this as will lose any firmware upgrades that the mount currently has.

Aways take my time in setting up the mount.  Lat and Long co ordinates are good and so is the time. Mount is level.  I know what I'm doing re BST.

Any ideas what has gone adrift.  Any big issues in hitting factory reset.

Is you power supply still up to scratch and connected, if the red led flickers when you slew its not good.....

Hi.  Fully charged power unit.  No issues I'm aware of.   My main thought is it no longer asks for Home position to be used.  I set the scope up to Home but the handset no longer asks me.

Which version of Synscan are you using?

Rather than do a factory reset have you upgrade to the latest firmware 3.36......might kick it back to life..

Think it's on 3.27 but don't quote me. I'll give it a shot and report back. Thank you
