Bad weather causes me to reprocess!!!

I haven't managed to do any DSO imaging since August due to poor weather & other issues so I've been going back through a couple of images I did this year.

Firstly the Dumbbell nebula which I imaged back in June this year, I were dissatisfied with it as it looked pretty flat colourwise  so I re did the processing. I think it looks a bit better now but still not as good as last years unguided version.

Taken using my 10" Newtonian, modified Canon 1000D & Baader MPCC at the dark site.

I think I managed about an hour & a half worth of data so I was expecting to get a bit more from it.

I also went back to my nemesis M31 as this for me is a real pig to process, it also suffered with horrendous gradients on one side so removing it hasn't helped it overall. However I'm still pretty pleased on how its turned out as it's my best one to date but still not there yet.

1 hour- 15 minutes worth of data with 5 minute subs, taken using my ED80, modified Canon 1000D taken at the dark site back in August.
