Some serious home made scopes

He has some amazing home made scopes on his site. His solar scope is epic, as are some of the images that have come from it. My french is extremely poor, so can't follow much of the site...

I've seen photos of the 203mm solar refractor before on the Istar forum. The images he produces with it are as stunning as the scope looks

JP Brahic is very well known here, not surprizingly. He's darned good!

Another instrument I've seen down here is a huge folded refractor-reflector with optics by the legendary Dany Cardoen at Puimichel.

They do make some stuff, the french guys - though Dany is Belgian really.
