Easy way to find events throughout the year.

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a webpage/app that has an accurate list of night sky events throughout the year. The peaks of various meteor showers, planatary conjunctions and the like, stuff that it's worth making a trip out to dark spots to see. I have one of the constelation apps on iphone but I don't really feel it's particularly reliable.

Any tips?

Customize it to your location and get your nightly events when required.

Try Google.

As in search for Meteor showers, solar eclipses, planetary conjunctions.

If you were to ask "What meteors showers are coming up?" all that happens is someone goes to Google enters a search string, then likely cuts and pastes information in a post.

Most of the monthly astronomy mags also have a guide or highlights section.
