Was meaning the 8e but both really as you say. Was just trying to understand what mag the 8 would give, and whether it was too high or not.

I do agree that a range of mags below the x187 is useful so still wouldn't commit to just having this magnification at the higher end, but you've already decided that anyway :-)

I'm not sure the 9mm would add too much though, pretty close to the others. Maybe something higher mag for those excellent nights?
