A question of balance (part 2)

I am thinking of purchasing a dual-mounting bar for mounting two of my 'scopes side-by-side on my Vixen GP. The mount is un-driven. Any tips or advice on balancing?

Not yet... I've also just bought a dual mounting bar (for my NEQ6) so will be interested to see any replies.

Find where each 'scope balances individually, and mark that point on the dovetail.

Mount the 'scopes on the dual bar, making sure that each balance mark is centered on the bar.

Finally find the balance point of the whole rig and mark that.

Then when you mount the rig on your Vixen make sure the overall balance point is centered on the mount.
