how to setup the phd 2 with meade dsi & orion st80 help

hi

i need to get the setting  for PHD 2 , i have  Meade dsi pro series 1 + Orion st-80  ,i  need to  know how to calculate or setup the guide ) of

1. min .motion pixels
2. calibration step
3. RA HYSTERESIS
4. star mass

Connect your mount and camera

Click the Brain

In the Mount tab, there is a calculate button. Click it.

Enter your scope f/l, pixel size of camera, declination, guide speed, etc

PHD will then calculate an ideal calibration time for your data

Min movement is the amount of movement seen in the star position before issuing a guide command - I set mine to 0.3 on my ED80

Max is the max time for a guide pulse - I have this set to 2000 ms

Hysteris - somewhere between 10 and 20 percent

I don't worry about star mass - leave mine at the default
