OK, here are the best and worst examples of my only attempt at this.

Taken using a Samsung Galaxy S3 pointed at the EP of a TAL2M. Cannot remember the EP I was using, but I would guess 25mm, possibly 40 (if anybody can make a reasoned guess from the size of the moon, go for it!.

Fully hand held using the bog-standard camera app, trying to keep the scope just off the EP to avoid vibrations. After the less successful shot, I recorded a load on the phone's burst setting and the better image of the two above is the best one I got.

Will have to have another go at this!

Well, as my phone can do up to 4 second exposures I bunged it on 1600 ISO and 4 seconds manual focus to infinity and lent against the patio door aiming roughly at Cassiopeia ...

I was pretty gobsmacked to be honest .

Then I realised that the milky way was actually a band of wispy cloud !
