04/09/14 & 31/08/14 old DSLR

I got better results when I did a mosaic but given the little effort required I'm quite pleased with how these turned out (and I had fun doing them).  Shot with my old DSLR (Fuji S3) & SW 100ED scope on a AZ4.

The weather forecast was poor but amazingly it was wrong - in  a good way.  Tonight's attempt - 102 images processed in PIPP, then AS!2, then GIMP.  So far this is my favorite phase of the moon.

and from a few days ago (since I've only just figured out DSLR image processing) a stack of 20 images.

Makes me want to upgrade to a modern DSLR.   - A Nikon D3200 would be nice, double the resolution (24 Mp).
