I had a tinker of my original try.

This time I applied the Ha as a Luminance,  (this tightened the stars and brought the image down a bit) I have processed this a fair bit dirtier (its ment to look more organic if that makes sence), it feels better in some ways far less contrasty. red rings on stars are showing the SII was a touch out of focus.

All the Combining, HDR and noise control done in PI, then a play in PS to change the colours a touch.

Normally I prefer this subject in black and white, but your image is changing my mind - I like the colours very much, especially in the tower of dust below the trunk. Which filters did you actually use?

Sii Ha and OII mapped to RGB respectivly.

I had to sort those stars our better and tweak the colour a touch

That's a big improvement Earl, those red halos detracted from the otherwise very nice image, now it looks very good!

Third time lucky I preferd the pallet on the first image so sorted the stars on that version

I agree - the first pallet was better.  Stars now sorted - it's a superb image.

Excellent - love the colours of the first and last image and it was well worth sorting those halos!
