I managed to capture mars with a pair of binoculars and a gopro

Yeah, it makes no sense but i wasn't expecting to capture anything at all. I just placed my gopro in the eyepiece while pointing at mars.

It happened on date: 02.06.2014 at 23:26:25

Astroimaging is something i really want to get into, but unfortunately (as i am a poor student) funds are a problem  , this might sound stupid, but i got excited about this picture

Re your picture ... It's good to experiment. It's interesting to see what's possible. Was this snap taken hand held?
