I also suspect that Bill Watterson was unable to differentiate between Univere and Galaxy.

Isn't it depressing to think "we are it"? I for one feel the need to put my money on something else. Hard to see how we as a species will ever make first contact though given the time, distance and our ability to destroy ourselves and environment.

So I guess I will just watch the stars and wonder, looking on in awe as those geniuses keep pushing space exploration
