How to protect DSLR in the fridge?!

I'm starting to put together a library of dark frames for my Canon 1100d. Several people suggest putting the camera in the fridge to take low temperature darks. How do protect the camera from damage? If I use a bag, do I need to put dessicant in the bag?

Thanks.

I just use the garage in winter - I keep a thermometer in there so I know the temperature.  If I need to I can usually find a "suitable" cloudy night to fill a gap in my darks library.  The volume of the garage seems to keep the temperature pretty stable.  Works for me.

If you don't have a garage then a shed may well work just as well?
