Thank you Paddy & Paul. It's hard to beat the images from a refractor... I'm trying to get the C8 working with the QSI, and while it works, it's just not got that 'frac sharpness! Trouble is, a long focal length refractor is a tad prohibitive cost wise...!

Interestingly I was going to ask if you'd given it a go with the C8! I can imagine that its a lot harder to get a good sharpness but perhaps guide Off Axis too (not that I am in any way an expert in OAG!)

That was with all of L, R, G & B binned 2x2. I collected a set of Luminance subs at 1x1 bin last night and will process that as soon as I can. Will be interesting to see the difference.

Did you 1x1 high or low it ?

Hello. I did a 2x2 and a 1x1 version of the Dumbell and definitely preferred the 1x1. I'm doing everything at 1x1 with the QSI now.

It's in the exposure settings next do exposure time.. you are using qsi 690?
