Guidescope or OAG

Good choice Kevin. I can do 3 hour subs with my c11 and OAG, but no more than 5 mins with a guidescope.

You will find that 5 - 10 minute subs on galaxies will yield great results :)

I have been thinking about how filters are added to an imaging train with an OAG. Having recently purchased a 2" LP filter I am keen to retain this ability.

Where are these added to the train? Is it in the spacer rings? I am thinking in particular of the Celestron OAG.

Thanks
