Anybody using this yet ? Plan to use it with canon 60da and canon 200mm 2.8 and samyang 24mm 1.4

I'd planned on ordering one. I've heard nothing but good. Here's a nice review  http://www.cloudynights.com/item.php?item_id=2948 . I'm opting for the next model up in the line, as I may want to plop an 8" newt on and GOTO with 2 axis drive sounds good.-Jack

You might want to take a look at the skywatcher sky adventurer before committing. I've just bought one and its a nice piece of kit advantages are cost. At £299 or less it is cheaper by far than the iptron vixen and other so.ilar products. Add to that an st4 guide port an polarscope as standard it is a complete package.

At £540 (plus more for the ball-head) it seems expensive for just a single-axis motorised mount.

What's the downside on buying an Ioptron SmartEQ PRO with GOTO for £100 less - both from the same supplier.
