July 4, 2014: Satellite-dish prom on the sun

Just had a quick look this morning. Apart from lost of wonderful detail on the disk, with all these very nice AR showing of filaments, plage and spots, I noted a large prom almost shaped like a large parabolic antenna on the eastern limb. Maybe another AR is lurking round the corner

Nice one Michael. I think there is another AR coming, I saw signs of it last nice in white light. Plenty going on at the moment!

Massive amount of disc detail today Michael, you are right! Didn't know where to look first. 

I've just been out and the prom on the right hand side is really developing, massive block pushing out now.

Hopefully going to watch this progress through the day.

I have been able to catch a lot of data in H-alpha and white light, so hope to show them off some time soon
