upper tangential arc & circum-zenithal arc, maybe?

for around 30 minutes there was a huge amount of activity around the sun in bedfordshire this evening.

it looks a little like a hint of both upper tangential arc and circum-zenithal arc in the 1st image, the 2nd was just a chance shot as jet passed over when i was setting up the camera.

i think your probably right, whatever they were they certainly looked spectacular!

Wonderful. Love the shadow of the jetstream on the clouds above it in the first image, that really adds to the composition. I guess the Sun must have just risen?

it was on its way down, total panic trying to catch the arc before it faded due to camera lens problem.
