M63 Sunflower Galaxy with a dodgy DSLR

So here's my latest pic:

18 of 25 300s exposures at ISO800, darks, flats and bias, unmodded noisy DSLR through 1.5x barlow, equipment as per sig, Pixinsight.

It could probably use more data to be honest, oh and a much better camera, mount...  Mind you, brand new coma corrector and QH5y are now imminent

It's a good image Stuart with some structure in the galaxy.  Like you say, more data will help a lot, improve the background and the better signal to noise ratio you'll get in the galaxy will allow you to sharpen the core up a bit and bring out some more detail.  I'd encourage you to keep going with more data on this target...
