What colour is Mars ?

Hi All,

Captured these when the seeing was good on the 12th. This is a question asked umpteen number of times - what's the real colour of Mars? I have a few variations here. My captures always come out pink. Probably some balance setting in IC capture. I usually colour balance in Photoshop or MaximDL.

A simple colour balance does not always get me the orange colour. I have to do a combination of levels, sat/hue, and balance. What do you guys do? And which one of the 3 processed ones look natural/aesthetic?

I concur with LB, The last one does it for me too, but I am sure different opinions will emerge, as everyones interpretations are different.

I agree also, that the whole batch looks excellent.
