is it possable? everything i read said the mount needs a synscan upgrade but i dont want a hand controller. i just want to control it with a pc.

maybe even add a guide port too.

there is a way to do it without the handset but you need another interface between the laptop & the mount
some people buy them as kits and make up their own

I can easily make the 4pin mini dinn to usb adaptor but will ascom be able to drive it as its not a pro mount?
