The Warthog
Go on! You just drew that on the picture! Nice, clear picture. I can sometimes resolve the crater in the rim of Birt visually.

The Warthog
It's interesting that the Straight Wall isn't the scarp it appears to be when you look at it. It's actually a slope of about 30 degrees, that is shadowed at sunrise and bright at sunset. Seeing it for the first time was one of those magic astronomical highlights for me, though. barkis
Nice pictures you have of the moon Tony. The Straight Wall is always a good subject for imaging, and you caught it good there. The 30 degree slope would make a nice gentle ski slope WH, if ever they get around to Terra forming the moon. Canada is probably better, but think of the journey to the piste on the moon. Ron. The Warthog
Yeah, and under lunar gravity, the speed would be slow enough for an old man like me to handle. Just think how broad that beginner's slope would be.
