Mars through my 50 mm

Ok so I decided to use my old scope tonight and mars is showing brightly and decently with the low power , I'm gonna try it on Saturn as well. I may just end up giving that one to one of my cousins but I haven't decided yet

It's amazing what you can see and that a small aperature can open up the skies :-) it might be fun to compare looking at the same objects as you might find each have their own strengths and you might keep both :-)

Yes my cousin does have an interest in getting a telescope and I'm helping her as much as I can with advice.
