Homemade dewshield for my 150 mak

O.K..

I have always liked something for nothing or next to nothing and a return to visual astronomy with a used Skywatcher 150 mak got me on the homemade dewshield making thingy again.

Thought I would do something different this time so as I had some old A3 laminated star charts from an old Norton Atlas .Glued 2 and a bit together stuck the Wilco's flocking inside and voila ! I don't even need to take out a star map for part of the year - I just read the dewshield!  It does the job better than a commercial one due to it's long length -with dewshields the longer the better.

Nice job Dave, i have some plastic sheet in hand for this very same job on my 150 mak, but im tempted to make a sliding dew shield for my TL100 instead
