Very glad you found your target , I very much hope it gave you as big a buzz seeing it for the first time as it did me ...  :smiley:

One thing to remember is that the Moon rises around 51 minutes later each day and its track across the sky varies enormously from low down to near overhead , this can be very confusing if you're trying to find objects using the Moon as a starting point .

The advice regarding "Stellarium" is sound , an amazing piece of planetarium software , free and simple to use , I highly recommend it.
