need help locating Saturn from Plano Texas

Not sure where Saturn is using moon as a starting point, from Plano Texas. Any advice would be much appreciated.thanks.

A very warm welcome to SGL ... 

Very glad you found your target , I very much hope it gave you as big a buzz seeing it for the first time as it did me ... 

One thing to remember is that the Moon rises around 51 minutes later each day and its track across the sky varies enormously from low down to near overhead , this can be very confusing if you're trying to find objects using the Moon as a starting point .

The advice regarding "Stellarium" is sound , an amazing piece of planetarium software , free and simple to use , I highly recommend it.

I'm in El Paso tx so most likely under Similar skies. What telescope are you using? I have two scopes both refractors
