eyepiece projection adapter vs barlow

Are there advantages in using an eyepiece with an eyepiece projection adapter for planetary imaging rather than a barlow?

Do both methods involve the same degree of difficulty in finding and focussing the image on the CCD chip?

Neither has a real advantage over the other.  With eyepiece projection you can increase the image scale (size of planetary disc) by increasing the distance between the eyepiece and the sensor, with a barlow the same thing can be achieved by adding an extension tube between the barlow and the sensor or stacking barlows. In both cases the image will become darker as the disc size increases. Both will have the same degree of difficulty in finding / focusing.
