The CBSAP (Solarchat) have proposed this date as being a worldwide outreach solar day. The Astronomy Centre is supporting this initiative and will be open for solar enthusiasts from 10.00am. There will be a number of "in house" Ha and white light telescopes ranging up to 220mm aperture plus incoming instruments from members. Admission is free and each attendee will receive a free pair of CBSAP supplied solar specs.
