Crater Atlas, May 3rd, 2014

Hi all,

yesterday evening I had the opportunity to sketch crater Atlas with Atlas E in ist North and the rim of crater Hercules appearing in the lunar sunrise.

Telescope: Celestron Nexstar 127/1500 SLT
Eyepiece: Skywatcher Planetary 5mm
Place: Germany, Dusseldorf Region
Date & Time: May 3rd, 2014, 2140-2220 CEST
Technique: White pastels, charcoal on black sketching paper

I'm hoping to get out and do some lunar observing myself this week, it will probably be cloudy but you gotta hope!!
