Az3 movement

Hi stupid question but where are the tension controls located on the az3 and where do the two alt and azimuth arms go?

I have a AZ3 for the PST. Will you please clarify what you mean by "arms"?

Sorry after a quick glance I thought they were solid and used to move the scope but they are the flexible slow motion controls! My bad!

Each cable fits on the ends of the tangent drive spindles. There's a manual with the AZ3, showing where the cables attach. The tension control for the azimuth movement is the long rod ending in a black plastic knob on the righthand side. There is no tension control on altitude.
