Hi Folks

I have produced from images obtained from Sharpcap and Registax. My scope is a Celestron 8SE using a Solar System CCD Imager (equivalent to a Celestron NexImage) and a 2xBarlow. Images were taken on the night of 16th April what was reasonable seeing (I think) in the Southeast of England.

I notice that the image has a distinct red hue on one side and blue on the other. Any ideas what may have caused this and how can I improve on the image?

Thanks for any help given. PS I am very new to astrophotography, only 4 or 5 nights in the dark.

For those who have seen my final Registax photo of Jupiter, what has to be done to get more definition and clarity when taking webcam video. Are there secrets I am missing is is a lot to do with 'seeing' conditions?
