Saturn for the first time.

Hi guys, just have to share this with all of you, I actually saw Saturn complete with rings last night for the first time ever. It was an awsome sight. I have a Meade ETX80 which I didn't think was powerful enough, but it is. Thanks for putting up with my ranting.

Congratulations. It's not ranting, I think we all feel/felt the same way on first seeing Saturn. I know I did.

It's a lovely warm feeling, seeing it for the first time with your own eyes, isn't it?

I remember the first time I saw Saturn and that's the reason I got into this hobby

That first view has since cost me a small fortune but well worth it

I remember my first Saturn with my old ETX90 and those rings. I called my wife out to the garden to show her and she said it looks like a round ball with ears. It was not all that clear as it is now days with my larger scope but I will always remember the buzz I got from seeing it. Treasure the memory.
