M51 - now with luminance

With the clear skies continuing, I was able to get luminance to add the last nights M51.

This will always be a work in progress.

Vital stats as follows:

• 80mm APO and Atik 314
• 6 of each RGB at 500 secs a sub 2x2
• 11 of Luminance at 500 secs 1x1
• No calibration frames yet
• Initial processing PI
• Then in PS

That is looking lovely. My RGB of M81 has run into trouble with huge violet halos around the blue stars, yours looks very clean.

I had that issue last year. My problems related to focus - couldn't get rid of the halos in processing, no matter how hard I tried.

I've attached a copy to show what I ended up with, in case its of any help.
