M74 - 3 nights in November

Had a look at old data again. First attempt at imaging for 3 nights with an unmodded DSLR. Please be kind:

130 PDS, HEQ5, canon450d

That is a very nice image, it cannot be an easy target for a small scope and dslr.

looks good to me, well done! as the light nights arrive i think there will be a lot of looking at old data.

Indeed, I've had an AstroBin guy looking at one of my recent tiffs and I'm amazed by his outcome.

Wish I could do smth like that with my data. Lots to learn, lots of advice on what to change, not so much on HOW TO... The dark art of AP seems more or less the postprocessing skills bit.

Thats for sure.......cannot believe I have fallen for this AP lark

Anyway onwards and upwards, we have to persevere.
