Celestron avx/heq5 - dovetail plates

Can anyone tell me if a dovetail plate is included with the avx ?

Was looking on flo at the pics of the heq5 pro and avx and noticed the avx didn't have one in the pic.

I assume they are the same on both mounts, and assume the sw 80ed pro with included mounting plate would fit on both mounts without any extras?

Big problem....

Due to funds being diverted from my telescope savings, I can only afford the mount upfront.

I'm thinking of buying the avx and just mounting my dslr directly for now to learn and keep me busy with my 300mm lens.

But also thinking I won't be able to fix it to the mount and polar aligning may be tricky.

An st80 will most likely be added in the long run, and might be able to stretch to that upfront with the mount, but the st80 says it comes with a tripod plate, not a vixen style plate.

Cheers Alan, a seriously cool setup in that thread. Hate to think how much all the plates and brackets and ball heads add up to. The scopes are the cheap bits
