Hi Mike.

Both of these are exerllent images,and show some lovely detail.

I ran your first image(The Galaxy looks familiar,just cant put my finger on it)through Gradient exterminator,and got the result below.

Mick that's really great it works well, I'll have to invest in it. Or pixlinsight which is supposed to be really great but hard to learn.
