i put topics on and they dissapears

The biggest cause that we have found for that it clicking on the Preview Button (which shows you what the post will look like), but not clicking the "Add Reply" button afterwards.

Is it possible that this could be the cause?

I'll check the logs, but we don't generally delete threads unless they are religious or political. We may move the occasional thread if its in the wrong place, but we try to tell the original poster when we do that.
