Tripod selection for Celestron Skymaster 25x70 bins?

Hi everyone!

As a newbie in astronomical viewing, I am trying to decide on buying a tripod for my 25x70 Celestron bins. I read few reviews and advice for choosing the right tripod, but at this point I am kind of lost! One thing I understood is that I need a better tripod because my bins are a bit heavier (1.475 kg) . I will be using the tripod for my Nikon D90 camera as well, so I would pay up to 100 Euros but wouldn't spend more on it. 

Any suggestion anyone ?

One thing that comes in handy is a geared centre column - it makes it a lot easier adjusting the height as you pan up and down.

Make sure whatever you go for will let you get the binoculars high enough .

I use this for my 25x100 binos, it can take the weight fine, but it does have jerky alt movement with no fine grained adjustment that is the only drawback.
