Triton photo tripod/head for binoculars?

Does anyone have experience with the Tripod tripods and heads and the FGX1 tripod and TRAZph alt-az head in particular?

Would this set be a good combination for large binoculars?

Cannot comment on this head, based on the recommendations here, I have recently invested in a trigger / joy stick head for my 15x70 binoculars. Works very well, much more functional than my former 2 way tripod mount.

Wouldn't be difficult to handle heavy binoculars (3kg and more) with a joystick head?

Mine weigh 2.5KG and are easy to maneuver and steady in use, the trigger head has a tension adjuster. I would not like to express an opinion with regard to 3KG + though.

Hi 'enigma', I have experiance and unable to comment about the Triton tripod.

Though alt-az/slo-mo head looks a better construction and design to the slo-mo's I have previously owned and used in the past with my Manfrotto tripod.

I can't comment on the binocular side of it but I had the 119 EU  Triton tripod for my Polarie and I got good use out of it but the whole stem/head did eventually shatter.
